Foot Spa Detoxification, Based on the Work of Doctor Rife

Royal Raymond Rife was, perhaps, the greatest medical scientist of the twentieth century and yet, sadly, very few people have ever heard of him. He died of alcoholism in obscurity in 1971. Royal Rife was the inventor of the “Dark Field Microscope” and this he did in the 1920s. His “Universal Microscope”, magnified objects 60,000 times, and this made him the first man in history to view a living virus. Ironically most of today’s scientists using powerful electron microscopes are viewing dead bio-organisms, because the powerful electric field of their equipment kills the virus. Rife, a brilliant inventor was the “Father of Electronic Medicine”, which he used very successfully to treat cancer patients in his clinic in San Diego in the 1930s.He suggested cancer was a virus and was able to facilitate cures by killing the virus with an electronic frequency generator.

Aqua Detox treatment is based on equipment developed by Royal Raymond Rife in his hey-day back in the 1930s. It has however been updated to take into account more recent technology, by naturopath and homeopath Mary Staggs. Rife found, as we see with increasing frequency today, that toxins assault the body, and it seems the number of these are rising at an alarming rate. These poisons cannot be excreted effectively; as they build up they cause electrolyte imbalances within the cells. This accumulation prevents them from absorbing nutrients and effectively getting rid of waste. Iranian Doctor F. Batmanghelidj in his book: “Your Body’s Many Cries for Water” stresses the problem is further aggravated because most people drink far too little water. Thus dehydration and toxicity are the root cause of most of the congestive and degenerative diseases prevalent today.

“The Aqua Detox” foot-spa treatment requires the feet to be placed in a salt-water solution, as this is a good medium in which to produce an electric charge. The feet are selected as they contain over 2,000 pores. They are the end point of the lymph system and let’s not forget the entire blood supply passes through the feet given sufficient time. In more complex cases the “Aqua Detox” equipment, comprising two spiral shaped electrodes can similarly be introduced into a bath for full immersion. The electrodes produce a charge that resonates around the whole body, this balances the cells, and at the same time facilitates the release of toxins.

The treatment seems to re-balance the body’s energetic field and improves oxygen and other nutrients to the tissue. The client comes away with a spring in her step, usually reporting a feeling of overall well-being. GDV or “Gas Discharge Visualisation” photography shows a definite improvement in the client’s energy field when before and after shots are compared. There is however a warning. This type of treatment should not be used by people with pacemakers, if they are epileptic or pregnant. But reports are more than encouraging for everybody else.

When EFT Fails You, What Do You Do?

Although many people benefit from eft there appears to be a small minority who continue to struggle even after much eft work. I find such individuals deeply passionate about finding an answer to their problems and a number of them seem to show up at my door.

My conversations with such individuals reveals that their issues are rather complex and involve a long persistent history of negative events that EFT seems unable to shift for them. In reflecting on this matter it has become apparent to me that EFT and modalities like it appear to have one significant weakness that to many might sound bizarre even to contemplate.

That weakness relates to something that will sound strange, even crazy, when you read it.

So here it is:

None of these modalities ever challenges the belief that this negative history ever happened.

In other words it is a well accepted “fact” (which I would suggest is more of an “assumption”) that one’s history of negative life events actually took place. Continuing to hold such a belief has a very significant disempowering effect on any modality that hopes to permanently attenuate the effects of that history.

In order to fully appreciate this let me take you on a short journey.

The belief that a negative life event happened is the opposite of the belief that it did not happen.

Believing that a negative life event “did not happen” when everyone else thinks that it did makes the owner of this belief appear delusional, crazy, insane and or deranged. Hence it follows that the belief that it “did happen” should therefore make one sane, normal, confident, capable, OK, happy, peaceful and so on.

To summarize, one has:

(The Summary Statement)

The belief that a negative life event did happen makes one sane, normal, confident, capable, OK happy and peaceful.

If we take this a bit further however we note that the belief that the negative life event “did happen” implies two significant things:

1. It implies that the memory of that negative life event is still inside you and,

2. As that memory is part of the past it cannot be completely erased hence one is stuck with it.

So in summary the belief “that the negative memory did happen” implies that you are permanently stuck with it (because the past cannot be completely erased).

So how does that make you feel? Well some might say that it’s not a big deal however if you actually look at what that negative memory is doing to you you’ll see that it’s draining your energy, your enthusiasm and motivation, makes you sad, feel hurt, disappointed, depressed, lowers your self confidence, your self esteem, your self worth, makes you feel inadequate and so on.

So does that feel like a life enhancing or a life depleting state?

If you see that it’s life depleting then you’ll also recognize that the negative memory is killing you and therefore toxic to you.

If you do, place one hand over your Heart and as if you are speaking from there, affirm that to yourself.

Now if we go back to the realization that the belief that “the negative memory did happen to you” implies that this toxic memory is still inside you and you’re stuck with it, notice how that makes you feel.

Many realize that this means they are feeling doomed!

Do you like that? Hardly!

That feeling will also contradict the Summary Statement above which suggests that:

The belief that a negative life event did happen makes one sane, normal, confident, capable, OK happy and peaceful.

If you see that this statement is false and wish to have it purged from within simply affirm that to yourself as if speaking from your Heart and you’ll begin to experience a shift that make astound you.

Next, realizing that the belief “that the memory did happen to you” makes you feel doomed I ask you to consider whether you wish to continue to harbour that belief any further. If not, again speaking from the Heart, command it to be purged from your life and again you’ll likely experience another profound shift.

This is an example of a new coaching modality that has the capability to help bring individuals to an entirely new and empowered level of consciousness. You also may surprisingly feel like it feels familiar to you.

Is it Safe For You to Resolve Your Condition Or Issue?

I wanted to share this brief synopsis of my session with my client ‘Susan’ (Susan is not her real name). She is an eft Practitioner and here’s what she said at our first session. “I do want more clients for eft Sessions. Right now I’m working another job and I’m not sure what’s holding me back.”

While I couldn’t see her face, as our session was via the phone, the helpless feeling she was describing was evident. I shared with Susan what often holds us back is our limiting beliefs. We might not be aware of these beliefs, fears and doubts as they are often in the subconscious mind.

“But rather than talk about it, let’s use EFT to bring out what fears and doubts you have around getting more clients for EFT sessions, okay?”

She told me she had already tapped around this issue and with other Practitioners but really didn’t see progress. I shared with her that if our tapping/using EFT is not deep enough we’ll make little, or at best, some progress.

What I found is that a specific limiting belief ‘It’s Not Safe for Me’ was indeed holding her back. Specifically a part of her didn’t feel it was safe to have an EFT Practice. She was surprised by this. As we tapped we found that she was hesitant to have clients as then she’d feel very responsible. She was not sure she could handle that.

She admitted sheepishly, “I’ve done my other job for years and rely on that income. EFT has been my passion but it feels uncomfortable to see me as a ‘real’ Practitioner. I don’t know what that would be

like!”

Here’s one of the tapping scripts I used for Susan and ‘It’s Not Safe for Me’

ET (Even though)

It’s Not Safe for Me to have more EFT clients, I don’t know what that would be like and I think I would feel so responsible to cure them…

Reminder phrase: Not Safe for Me to have more EFT clients

We continued to tap until this Core Issue was removed and Susan felt 100% safe and comfortable when thinking of having more clients. She actually started to feel more excitement since that limiting belief was now gone.

Remember as always that this specific tapping script worked well for Susan because:

1. We tapped directly on the Core Issue that was holding her back

2. We got specific about her belief/fear (ie: It wasn’t safe for her because_________)

Recently I tapped for myself that it was safe for me to launch a new project in my business.

What I found is that the fears/thoughts of why it was not safe/comfortable came to my awareness. Then I tapped on those and felt much more 100% on board with the project.

medicine

“John” came to me because he wanted to drastically cut back on his marijuana use. He views marijuana as a medicine and has been using it for much of his life. I asked him what he would like in terms of his marijuana use, and he said that he would like to smoke it only on weekends and for creative endeavors.

He confessed that he felt that he was addicted to pot. John said that he smoked it several times every day. He used marijuana to get in touch with his body. He smoked it before he works (he is a handyman); he uses it before he writes poetry; he smokes before he spins fire and works out.

After talking with John for a while, it seemed clear that he felt marijuana helped him connect with his spirit, to meditate and to breathe. He liked the feeling of being a cool dude, and his inner teenager wasn’t sure if he would be cool without pot.

He seemed to enjoy it so much I asked him why he would want to cut back. He replied that he would soon be starting an inside job, and he wanted to be clean when he goes to work. He also complained that his lungs hurt and in the morning he sometimes wheezed. John also complained about his penchant for getting speedy on strong coffee and then mellowing out with a joint, then repeating the cycle again and again.

I asked him if he had any marijuana on him, and he pulled out a small stash. I asked him to smell it and get his get his craving to spike. The intensity was only a 3 or 4 out of 10. Since I hadn’t known what the session would be about, I hadn’t been able to ask him from refraining for the day, at least until after our session.

Because he had smoked some pot a couple of hours before his session, I realized I had my work cut out for me.

His first set phrases were Even though:

  • I have been smoking marijuana most of my life, I deeply and completely love and accept myself
  • Marijuana helps me drop into my body…
  • I don’t know if I can go without marijuana for a day…

He tapped for several rounds and when he stopped I had him smell the pot and his craving went up to a 5-6. I asked if he had any insights and he said that he really identified with marijuana.

The next set of rounds we used “being cool” as a reminder phrase. After tapping, he smelled the marijuana again, and I had him imagine inhaling the smoke into his lungs, then watch the smoke curl up, and then the immediate gratification of dropping into his self (these were all things he had told me). His intensity had gone up to an 8. Had I gone too far? Was it getting close to the time in which he was going to smoke his evening joint? When I asked him about it, he answered truthfully that it was….

Some of the final set-phrases we used were, Even though:

  • My inner teenager wants to smoke pot whenever I want, there is another part of me that wants to be in control of this situation, and I deeply and completely love and accept myself, and I forgive myself for letting marijuana be in control of me
  • I am the Ganja King…
  • I am not sure of who I will be without marijuana controlling me…

His reminder phrase was Ganja King. After a couple of rounds I had him tap and rant about his fears of life without marijuana.

After an hour and a half session, his intensity was a 6. He needed to be on his way. I told him that it looks like we would have more to work on.

The next morning he called to tell me that he had gone dancing and he did not smoke marijuana! He assured me that he felt in his body without marijuana. Today, when I went to the market I saw John again (two days after our session). He still had not used any marijuana since our session. He smiled from ear to ear as he thanked me profusely for my help.

Spiritual Coach

Bill is part of my extended family. Though 89, he has remained quite active. He loves taking care of the exotic tropical plants in his yard. They remind him of the years he and his wife lived in Hawaii. He also enjoys getting out and walking their two little dogs in the park.

My mother told me that Bill had recently fallen and fractured his pelvis. This came after back surgery. Confined to crutches and a walker for two months, Bill needed a lot of help from his wife, Bettie. As a result, my mom and Bettie hadn’t been able to play the penny slots at the casinos. Besides taking care of Bill, Bettie had to do all the chores as well as the grocery shopping-which she hated.

During my recent trip to visit my mother, we were able to spend some time with Bettie and Bill. We enjoyed the shade from their tropical plants as we chatted in their courtyard. After catching up, I told them about eft and how I thought it could benefit them. My mother didn’t want to stay long, so I explained how eft worked as quickly as I could. Bettie mentioned a chronic pain in her knee with an intensity level of “4″. Bill was on painkillers, so reported no pain. He showed us his swollen leg, a result of his diabetes, which I didn’t even know he had. He told us that he had a doctor’s appointment the next morning because of his concern with his leg.

Pressed for time, we were still able to squeeze in one round of EFT. Though somewhat skeptical, both Bettie and Bill tapped with me for the first time. After we finished, Bettie was astonished to find that the pain in her knee had disappeared. Bill commented that his ankle felt less stiff.

The next morning, as I packed my suitcase to come home, my mother walked in and handed me the phone. It was Bill. He said, “I think you are really on to something.” He went on to tell me that the swelling had decreased in his legs. They were so much better that he had just cancelled his doctor’s appointment.

I spoke with him again several days later the swelling had not returned. He said that he is sold on the tapping and has done some by himself, too. How cool that is, I thought; another success for EFT.

Spiritual Coach

One of my favorite ways of using eft is with groups. What Gary Craig calls Borrowing Benefits, I like to call ‘Tuning into the One Heart.’ On my first Transformation Cruise, I did a 90-minute long workshop called ‘Attracting Miracles.’ During the first part of my workshop, I talked about Spirit and Essence, then led several exercises to help the participants get in touch first with their essence and then with the essence of others in the room.

This story is a loose transcript from the video of my presentation. One by one, I worked with three volunteers in a period of 40 minutes. The first two had family members that had committed suicide and I helped them clear their toxic, long-held feelings around that issue. The third one took only 13 minutes. I believed that all of these cleared very quickly for several reasons. First, it was a Law of Attraction Cruise, and our focus was on creating positive outcomes. Second, we had been focusing on the idea that we are all a miracle. Thirdly, we were joining and tapping into the power of the One Heart. It may sound woo-woo, but I’m convinced that there is an amazing, even miraculous healing power available when people join together in spirit.

A little history about how I like to work with eft: I particularly like to use humor because it helps make whatever condition the person is dealing with seem not quite so serious. They are able to acquire a more spacious perspective. One way to create humor is by cussing (unless, of course, it doesn’t work for the client).

Janice wanted to let go of the guilt she had been carrying around for two years since her mother-in-law, Alice, had died. The problem was that Janice had actually been wishing her mother-in-law would die. I asked Janice why she had wished death on her mother-in-law, and she replied that she was a vicious, hateful person who and told a lot of lies.

I told the group that it doesn’t really matter how long a person has had a problem, as long as they are willing to let go of their victim story. Some people aren’t willing or ready to let go of the victim role because they are being fed by it for some reason. They identify with it, and there is always a hidden payoff.

Janice was feeling an guilt intensity of 8 about wishing for her mother-in-law’s death. When I asked if she felt the guilt in her body, she answered yes, that it was in her neck and the intensity was a 4. Everyone repeated the following set-phrases while tapping on their karate chop points: Even though…

? I’m not sure if I can let this guilt go, because I wished that Alice was dead and then she died, and it must be my fault because my intention is that strong, I deeply and completely love and accept myself.

? I made her die…

? I wished Alice would drop dead… and she did… and I have felt guilty ever since…

? I love that part of me that feels like it is my fault…

? I wished that Alice would die and she did…

? I’ve been carrying this guilt around and I forgive myself, and…

? I couldn’t help myself and I love and accept that part of me.

Then everyone in the group (there were approximately 60 of us) tapped on our meridians, inhaling and exhaling after each reminder phrase.

Inside Eye: Mean bitch…

Outside Eye: Mean bitch…

Under Eye: She was a mean bitch…

Under Nose: It was my fault she died…

Under Lip: She was so mean…

Collar Bone: I wasn’t the only one who wished she was dead. I guess it was all of our minds working together…

Under Arm: Mean bitch…

Liver Point: Mean bitch (by now Janice was laughing)…

Top of Head: Mean bitch…

After the first round of tapping, I asked Janice to close her eyes, go inside and notice any insights. Janice answered laughingly, “A lot of relief!” Her guilt went from an 8 to a 3 and her shoulder pain went from a 4 to a 1. We did more set-up phrases with everyone following along on their karate chop points. Even though…

? Alice was a mean bitch, she was doing the best she could do – for a mean bitch. She had problems and she didn’t know how to do any better. I love and accept myself for wishing for her to die.

? I was doing the best I could do as well. I didn’t know any better. It gave me a sense of power when I wished she was dead, so much so that I felt guilty when she died. I choose to let this guilt go. I know that Alice died without any help from me. It wasn’t me. It was Alice. I love and forgive myself.

I paused and asked what her intensity was around the guilt she was feeling. It had dropped from a 3 to a 2. Then we used these reminder phrases while tapping on our meridians:

IN: I forgive myself for wishing Alice were dead

OE: No, I don’t. It was my fault

UE: Yes, I do

UN: No, I don’t. I want to carry this around forever

UL: Yes, I do

CB: I choose to let this go

UA: I choose to let Alice be where she’s at

WP: I forgive myself

TH: I am Whole and Complete

Someone in the audience added, “I forgive Alice,” and we all repeated, “I forgive Alice.”

By the end of her time up front, Alice reported that her guilt was gone and her shoulder pain was down to a 1.

All of this in 13 minutes while tapping and tuning in to the One Heart. Another miracle!

Spiritual Coach

Kamala is a sweet little three-year-old girl who happens to be my goddaughter. She has beautiful blue eyes just like her mother, Kristin. Last week, I took my granddaughter, Tessa, and met up with Kristin and Kamala at a toddler’s swim class. After the class, we went into the hot tub, and then Kristin suggested that we all go play in the outside pool.

It was a gorgeous day and the outdoor pool water felt deliciously warm. We happily shared the pool with a senior water exercise class, women rhythmically moving their bodies across the pool. Kristin and our little ones hung out near the steps in the shallow water. Tessa and I played together, counting to three, before I threw her as high in the air as I could. When she splashed down, I followed her under water. With our eyes open and huge grins, we swam up to the surface. Kristen tried to coax Kamala out into the deeper water. Kamala, who was whining, didn’t want to move off the step. Her mother kept saying, “Don’t worry, Kamala, you will be safe.”

I asked Kristin if it would be OK to do eft on Kamala and she nodded. Deciding that getting Kamala to tap probably wouldn’t work, I chose to do some surrogate tapping. Looking into Kamala’s eyes, I said, “Even though I am Kamala and I don’t want to get all wet, I am an OK kid,” and “Even though I am afraid of the water, I am an OK kid.”

Kamala told me that she didn’t want to get her face wet. I added that to the set-up phrase (while tapping on my karate chop points on the sides of my hands), Even though I don’t want to get my face wet, I am an OK kid. Then I started tapping the points on my body while I was saying reminder phrases such as: afraid of the water and don’t want to get my face wet. It only took one round and Kamala changed her stance. She started laughing. Then all four of us were counting to three as Kristin and I tossed our little ones into the air. Kamala went under water and got her hair wet, doing so without any fear! Kamala and Tessa kept screaming at the top of their lungs, “Again, again!”

In a few moments, my goddaughter had gone from terrified and whiny to delighted and excited. Once again, eft came through.

Even though:

Yesterday a client asked me how to use eft to help her start to exercise. “Ellen” works at home on her computer for long hours, sometimes 12-15 hours a day. Her resistance to doing exercise was a 10 out of 10.

Here are some of the set-up phrases we used, Even though:

  • I hate to exercise, I deeply and completely love and accept myself, and I forgive myself for not
  • exercising very much these last couple of years
  • I am physically lazy…
  • I am not a physical athlete, but I am a mental athlete, and I wish that I could think about exercising…
  • my exercise has been to walk from the studio to the kitchen to the bedroom…
  • there are not quite enough hours in the day…
  • I have other things that I would rather do and need to do than exercise…
  • there needs to be another one of me to do all of the things that I need to do…

Her reminder phrase was Resistance to Exercise.

Doing four rounds of tapping brought the intensity of her resistance to exercise down to a 5.

She told me that she would rather exercise than tap. So, you can probably guess what her next set-up phrase was, Even though I’d rather exercise than tap…; and Even though a part of me doesn’t feel like exercising….

When I sensed that the intensity had lessened I had her affirm the positive:

  • Exercising makes me feel wonderful
  • I love the endorphins that come about when I exercise
  • I love moving my body
  • I love the way that exercise clears my mind
  • exercising makes me feel more energetic
  • I feel calm and centered
  • I have more than enough time to exercise

This brought her resistance to exercising down to a 1-1.5. As she shared with me that she felt like getting up and exercising right then instead of waiting until the next morning like we had talked about, I suggested that she do just that.

During our latest session she shared that she had gone for a walk right away, and that she had followed my advice about taking it easy. Ellen reported that she’d had a wonderful walk. She fell asleep at 10-which was unusual, and then went for another walk this morning.

Ellen wanted to know if she needed to continue to tap about exercising. My suggestion was if she didn’t feel like exercising, tap. If there was no resistance-then she wouldn’t need to tap, but just to get out and walk.

worry

Sara was really tired. I could hear it in her voice. She the last couple of weeks really tuckered her out. She had taken a 12 hour train ride to visit her mother and sister for a week. On her return trip, the train was an hour late, and arrived after midnight. Her son picked her up. he was excited to see her and talked until 2:30 am, which was well past her bedtime. Then, her three month old grandson woke her up at 5 am. When she returned home, a five hour drive, she had classes to teach and presentations to make. Sara felt as though she didn’t have enough time to do everything that needed to be done, and that she was working her fingers to the bone.

We did several rounds of eft on how tired Sara was, and her intensity level only went from a 7 to a 5.5. My intuition told me to ask more about her visit to her invalid mother, and I found that underneath her tiredness was worry. Sara was deeply concerned about the care that her mother was getting from Sara’s sister. She was worried that her sister, who she said was irrational, was going to freak out while taking care of her mother.

I asked Sara to give a number to the intensity level of her worrying about her mother’s care. When she said it was 9.5, I knew that worrying was taking a lot of Sara’s energy, and could very well be making her tired. We did a few rounds focusing on how much she was worrying about her mother, which brought her SUD level to a 2, and couple more rounds brought it to a zero. As a consequence, her tiredness went from a 5.5 to a 2 and then to zero.

Sara really liked the idea that she could put her worry on a shelf, and could still get to it anytime that she wanted it. After doing our eft session she said that she still felt tired, but that it was a normal, healthy, tired feeling and that she had let go of her weariness.

I saw Sara the next day, and she looked refreshed…
